The waterfall of Samvíd is among the most impressive and most beautiful élladian waterfalls. The water rushes from the almost vertical edge of the cliff from a height approximately 60m and then flows about one kilometer through the grassy plain to the sea. When the sun in the afternoon shines directly into waterfall, the rainbow appears in scattering drops. If a man cames anough close to the waterfall, suddenly the rainbow forms perfect circle in front of him. If he succeded to jump through the circle, he finds himself in the world beyond the rainbow.
